I'm Haley and I'm a 25 year old paraprofessional working in a sub-separate Autism classroom. I am currently completing my Masters in education and am working towards my teaching license. I have always been passionate about writing and mental health in addition to education, and I have always wanted to help people with what I've learned in my own life so far - hence, "Learned Along the Way"! If I can do one thing with this blog, it will be helping at least one person realize they're not alone and there's always a light at the end of the tunnel. I like to think about writing like I'm writing to my younger, past self, and try to focus on what she would need to hear. Life isn't easy, but I believe whole heartedly that we're here to help each other.
